traditional livelihoods and to protect the local communities, economy and environment.

- To establish reliable guarantees of water supply for irrigation in the
Klamath Basin.
- To develop the financial, political and social capacities to protect
traditional economic activities and to effect reasonable, meaningful
change, when appropriate.
- To establish and ensure effective unity of purpose among agricultural and
business interests within the Klamath Basin.
- To establish and maintain communication between economical, political,
scientific and advocacy interests within the Klamath Basin.
- To encourage changes in state and Federal policies and laws, emphasizing
the proven effectiveness of locally crafted, locally driven solutions.
- To strengthen and empower local communities in the management of the
Klamath Basin’s water resources and to assure wise management, use and
conservation of those resources.
- To recognize, protect and promote local and state jurisdictions regarding
all private and public lands along with their respective water rights
and property issues.
- To establish an effective working relationship between public and private
land resource managers.
- To promote and publicize the accomplishments of good stewardship of water
usage of private resource managers and local organizations of the
Klamath Basin.
- To research, document and
communicate economic impacts and consequences of water resource policy
decisions.
